Today our SR called and scheduled our appointment with our project manger Jay we are so excited we are meeting on October 6th and they will start bulding the following week. We are so excited its finally happening!
For those who have already done this phase if you can give me some helpful advise as to what to expect or some question to ask that would be great!
I'm starting this blog in hopes there are other people like that are building a home for the 1st time. When I researched Ryan Homes there were a lot of negative things about them. My blog will be our journey - from start to finish and hopefully will be a good tool for people thinking about building with Ryan, or people who are in the process of building. And for me I hope to meet some people who have already began the process to give some helpful advice :)
It shouldn't take more than an hour or so to do the meeting. Make sure you have all of your PM's contact details, and ask him/her their preferred method of contact (some like phone, others email). Although it's really your SR's responsibility, make sure that your PM is aware of every single option and change order you selected. We discovered that our SR had selected the wrong fireplace option, for example.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! We double checked everything too. Make sure you take your documents with selections you got from your prior appointments. Especially if you wanted something specific. We couldn't remember where we wanted some of our extra lighting/outlets.
ReplyDeleteThank you both :) We actually put together a binder with all of our paperwork so that we can have all the info in one place. We have started writing out our list all ready to make sure that we dont miss anything.
